Although it is true that everyone is on their own path, that doesn't mean you are alone. Other people are on parallel paths, going in the same direction. Some are farther along, some not, and some are moving at perhaps the same speed you are. No one can ever be sure where they are heading. The best that can be hoped for is a direction . Uncertainty is always a factor along the path, and the best attribute you can have is self confidence in yourself, your judgments and inner instincts that whatever comes your way, you have the capacity to deal with it in a way that will reflect growth, knowledge and ultimately wisdom.

Yeah, there are people on parallel paths, in similar directions, etc. But they can't walk on your path, and there will be times it seems like there isn't anyone walking alongside you, I guess. Might not always be easy to see the people on the parallel paths.
Thanks for the encouragement and advice, though. =).

For example, I've recently decided to embark in a career path totally different from my course of study. Many people would deem it foolish, especially because they claim that accountants will always be in demand, and thus I would never have to worry about finding a job. This is Singapore, and one should be practical, they say. However, the more I thought about it, the more I balked at the idea. Why settle for something that's just not you?
My point is, be true to yourself. Sure, it can get a little lonely, but there's no point following the crowd if you in your heart that it's not for you. All the best, trail-blazer!
(and thanks for visiting my blog! I am truly honoured)
Nabilah Said's last blog post..Good men, bring your ideas to life.
Yeah, I do believe it's worth it, but it's hard sometimes, I guess.
And no need to be honored about me visiting your blog. Haha. You've got some great stuff. =).
