Sui Generis: How YOU deal with failure/change | Sui Generis

  • Thomas · 2 years ago
When I feel bad about a mistake I made I analyze my feelings and the situation. I see failure as an opportunity to grow and I practice being grateful of the courage it took to make a mistake. I ask myself: What caused this bad feeling? What should I change in my life to avoid this? And I try to change my life the best I can.

Thanks for the advice. =). It's easier said than done, I suppose. But it's still good advice.

One of my favorite quotes is "If you can't pronounce it, say it loud!" It reminds me to go past the incident and focus on lifelong learning.

i reflect and think about the reasons why i failed and try not to make the same mistake again.reflection had enabled me to accept uncertainty and confusion and accept failure as part of the learning process.
